FAQ

Who is Lena in Psycho-Sleuth?
Lena is Lyle’s younger sister and a main Afflicted One in the thirteen-player Selection. She appears in Chapter 1 investigations and debates alongside the protagonist.
Does Lena have OCD in Psycho-Sleuth?
Yes per vndb’s character tags and multiple reviews. Steam’s marketing lists OCD as a store-wide example (forced truth), and Game*Spark ties that example to Lena’s inability to lie.
Can Lena force others to tell the truth?
Game*Spark’s launch-week play report names her active ability Only the Truth Remains: while it runs, people in range cannot lie without pain. GameCynic and NookGaming describe the same mechanic in English reviews.
If Lena cannot lie, is she always right?
No. Her condition stops her from lying, not from being mistaken: a sincere statement can still differ from the physical facts when Pathosync distorts perception.
How does Lena help Lyle?
Preview coverage says Lyle’s synesthesia illusions make reality slippery; Lena’s honesty anchors him. See the Lyle profile for that dynamic.

Who is Lena?

Lena is Lyle’s sister and one of the thirteen Afflicted Ones trapped in the Selection. Steam’s English store page lists OCD that forces absolute truth where no one can lie as a headline disorder; pre-release gameplay articles map that hook to Lena’s personal story in Chapter 1, where her statements become pivotal during debates.

She is voiced by Manase Hiyori per vndb and appears in early Steam screenshots set in the Logic Church narthex with the core cast.

What is Lena’s Pathosync?

Sources describe two layers:

Passive inability to lie

Game*Spark (Japanese and English play reports) states Lena always carries the compulsion—she cannot utter a deliberate falsehood even when others around her still can. That matches the Pathosync explained entry on OCD forcing truth in dialogue scenes.

Active “Only the Truth Remains”

The November 2026 Game*Spark review gives the awakened ability name in English: when Lena activates it, everyone under the effect cannot lie; attempting falsehood triggers intense pain. GameCynic and NookGaming describe the same battle/interrogation tool without always printing the Japanese skill name.

How does Lena fit the early cast?

  • Family anchor — Marketing repeatedly pairs “survive with sister” (Game*Spark headline) with Lyle’s protection motive.
  • Opening-case participant — IndieTome lists her among characters central to the first investigation; community case guides treat her statements as sincere but not automatically correct, which matters when you build a timeline.
  • Live2D presence — Launch materials promise animated portraits for all thirteen mains; Lena’s red hair ribbon look appears in trailer “JUDGE” lineups.

Compare other Chapter 1 figures on the characters hub: Kizuna and protagonist Lyle. IndieTome also notes an investigator named Hyper in the opening case, but this wiki has no dedicated Hyper page yet.

What is intentionally not covered here?

This page avoids:

  • Chapter 2+ plot beats, deaths, or verdict outcomes.
  • Case One reconstruction details (gated on the case page spoilers).
  • Clinical accuracy debates—NookGaming notes the game uses real disorder names with heavy sci-fi license.
Spoiler: Lena in Case One (Chapter 1 story spoilers)

IndieTome and TV Tropes discuss Lena being forced to operate machinery while believing she killed someone alive, even though her words remain “true” relative to her perception. Read the spoiler sections on Chapter 1 walkthrough only when you want that reconstruction help.
