Does Psycho-Sleuth support controllers?
Yes—Steam lists Full controller support for the base game (controller_support: full, category “Full controller support”). The September 17, 2026 demo update announcement states that “controller support is now live” alongside Deck compatibility messaging.
Final Weapon’s pre-release review mentioned occasional difficulty selecting clues with a controller in a preview build and switching to mouse for some interactions. Treat that as one reviewer’s launch-window experience, not a guaranteed current bug—report new issues through Thermite’s linked feedback form on the release post if you hit the same thing.

How compatible is Psycho-Sleuth with Steam Deck?
There are two different signals:
| Source | What it says (2026-11-06) |
|---|---|
| Valve Deck compatibility API | resolved_category: **1** → Unsupported, with display token #SteamDeckVerified_TestResult_UnsupportedGraphicsPerformance. Query: https://store.steampowered.com/saleaction/ajaxgetdeckappcompatibilityreport?nAppID=3432860 |
| Developer demo post (Sep 17, 2026) | “The game is fully compatible with Steam Deck” after performance and controller work |
We report both verbatim. Unsupported means Valve’s official Deck lab did not pass the game for the “Verified” badge at check time; Proton may still run the title on your Deck with tweaks, but we cannot promise stable frames or readable text at handheld resolution without your own test. Always try the free demo on Deck before buying the full game for handheld play.
The same API response also listed SteamOS resolved_category: 2 (Playable) and Steam Machine resolved_category: 3 (Verified) with controller-related pass tokens—distinct from the handheld Deck badge.

Which Steam accessibility tags apply?
Steam’s category list for app 3432860 (2026-11-06 snapshot) includes:
- Adjustable Difficulty
- Save Anytime
- Playable without Timed Input
- Subtitle Options
- Color Alternatives
- Custom Volume Controls
- Keyboard Only Option
- Mouse Only Option
- Stereo Sound
- Playable at your own pace (Steam category id 80)
Debate Mode still advertises time management on the store page, so “playable without timed input” may refer to broader Steam accessibility tagging rather than “no timers anywhere.” Use the demo to see if debate clocks match your needs.
Gore displays in full by default; the Streaming Guidelines mention a Gore Display setting for streamers and sensitive players.
What platform and language facts matter?
| Topic | Detail |
|---|---|

| Languages (text) | English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean |
| Full voice audio | Japanese only per Steam language line |
| Cloud saves | Steam Cloud category present on store listing |
We do not document save-file folder paths here because we have not verified paths on disk.
